I always seem to want to drop $300 on a pair of glittery, bedazzled platformed sandals or maybe some blue suede oxfords that are totally impractical and I’ll wear all of three times. But then, a few weeks ago, I got sick of never having the right closed-toe shoe to wear to fancy work events or friend’s birthday dinners or holiday parties and I decided: Hayley, it’s time to grow up and buy some real adult heels that I can wear in the office as well as outside of it, with jeans or with a fancy evening dress.
