Fashion Blogger Responds to 'Holocaust Fashion Shoot' Backlash Jan 29th 2013, 21:50 Today The Cut noticed that earlier this week, popular Spanish fashion blogger/designer/DJ Palayo Diaz posted a stylized selfie from Berlin’s Holocaust memorial, the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. He posted photos of himself leaning against the pillars of the memorial, listed his fashion credits (Davidelfin biker coat, American Apparel hoodie, Céline bag and Balenciaga shoes), and wrote that he “can’t really describe how it feels to walk between concrete blocks trying to reach the sky but the good thing is that is that it doesn’t make you think about the past, only the future, and that’s something I love being involved with.” For obvious reason, the post has been met with backlash.
