Bowie celebrated his big 66 b-day and broke a ten year silence with a surprise for “Heroes” everywhere – dropping a new single and accompanying video “Where Are We Now?” from forthcoming LP due in March.
Working with old pal Tony Visconti the startling new rleaase is DB’s first collection of new material since 2003, Rolling Stone mag noted.
The Next Day is Bowie's 30th studio album, 46 years after his breakthrough 1967 needle dropper.
However it may be the final chapter in a bizarre career that has veered from the glam of Ziggy Stardust to a stylized Eighties MTV ready chart toppers to dark tour in Berlin with Lou Reed.
