DIANE SAWYER reportedly ready to retire because she is beset “with personal problems”.
The ABC World News anchor and vet TV newser at the Alphabet Net is said to be considering retiring, The NY Daily News reported.
“She has discussed with a few close friends and some people at ABC that she is seriously considering retiring,” an insider told the tab.
“She said she’ll be ready to hang it up not long down the road.
“She loves work and what she does and has endless energy, but she’s overwhelmed with personal problems and she is thinking about leaving to take care of her family.”
Sawyer is said to be helping her mom cope with an illness.
Sawyer recently was the subject of internet intrigue prompting a mock Twitter account #drunkdianesawyer after her bizarre on-air antics slurring her speech Election Night.
