And the season has become almost as important to designers as it has to actors. There are of course always the mainstays like Elie Saab, Giambattista Valli, Armani Privé, Marchesa, J. Mendel, Reem Acra, and Oscar de la Renta. In fact, we’d bet money on all of the above being answers to the inevitable “who are you wearing” question this coming Sunday, as they have been since what seems like the beginning of time.
