Photo credit:  Splash News Online  Widespread news reports chortled about KATY PERRY attending a Lakers game and pointedly snubbing ex-hubby RUSSELL BRAND, who was also in the stands, but what happened just before the curvaceous thrush arrived was even funnier. While driving to the LA stadium with her dad, Katy got a phone call from a girlfriend already at the game, who tipped her that reviled Russell had just shown up with a buddy. So what did Katy do? Even though she’d already put on makeup at home, she spent 10 minutes in the parking lot smearing on even more war paint, tweaking her hair, etc., while exasperated Dad waited impatiently. Why? Ladies, I know you get it, but let my source explain it to the guys: “Even though Katy and Russell had a nasty divorce and she refuses even to speak to him, she STILL wants him to know what he’s missing!”
